In-Home Therapy is a structured and effective therapeutic approach that is designed to meet the behavioral health needs of program participates. The program consists of a Master's level clinician and a Therapeutic Training and Support person who work closely with the family to develop a treatment plan that addresses the specific needs.
The program utilizes established psychotherapeutic techniques and intensive family therapy to enhance problem-solving, limit-setting, risk management, safety planning, and communication. Additionally, the team focuses on building skills to strengthen the family, advance therapeutic goals, and improve interaction. They also identify and utilize community resources and develop and maintain natural supports to promote the sustainability of treatment gains.
In-Home Therapy is flexible and can be provided in various settings, including the home, school, community center, respite setting, and other community settings. Professional providers deliver services, ensuring clinical and psychiatric expertise, as well as cultural and linguistic competence.
The program operates 24/7, 365 days a year, with a 24-hour urgent response accessible by phone to the youth and family. Additionally, Mobile Crisis Intervention is available in case of emergencies. In-Home Therapy aims to prevent the need for inpatient hospitalization or psychiatric residential treatment facilities, providing youth and their families with the support they need to promote healthy functioning.
